Alisha Fox is currently the Vice President of Finance and Chief Operating Officer at Cleveland State Community College (CSCC) in Cleveland, Tennessee.   As the VP and COO, she is responsible for the oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, auxiliary services, budget and finance, capital projects, human resources, IT, payroll, physical plant operations, and purchasing/contracts.    

Before being chosen as VP of Finance and Operations in June 2018, Alisha served in several roles at Cleveland State, including; Assistant Vice President of Finance and Operations, Director of Fiscal Services, and Director of Purchasing and Contracts. During her time at CSCC, she has led multiple campus-wide projects and initiatives, some of which include the recent physical campus improvements, development of a new budget process, aligning finance and facilities priorities with both the strategic and master plans, and implementing numerous process improvements leading to cost savings and efficiencies within the college. Prior to joining CSCC, Alisha spent twelve years in higher education bookstore management. 

Alisha completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, a Master of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University, and a graduate certificate in Community College Leadership from East Tennessee State University.  She is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Public Administration program at Valdosta State University.  Alisha currently serves on the executive board of Community College Business Officers (CCBO) as the past president and previously served on the executive board of Women in Higher Education in Tennessee. Her professional and community affiliations include; CCBO, SACUBO/NACUBO, Women in Higher Education in Tennessee, Rotary Club of Cleveland, Tennessee Promise Mentors, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and United Way.  Alisha lives in Meigs County with her husband Tyler and their dog, Ivan.
