Sam McReynolds is a retired bank president and longtime supporter of the Cleveland community. He has served in a variety of leadership roles including United Way Chairman, President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Cleveland State Foundation, Director of the Tennessee Bankers Association and many others.

Sam has served as President and Treasurer of the McReynolds Family Foundation for the past 20 years. This philanthropic family organization has generously supported numerous organizations and causes throughout the Cleveland community. Some of these include the Cleveland State Foundation, Lee University, The Museum Center at 5ive Points, The United Way of the Ocoee Region, The Cleveland Bradley Chamber of Commerce and the Cleveland Public Library.

Sam credits his parents for his giving spirit and said it was only natural to follow in their footsteps. The impact the McReynolds Family Foundation has had would be impossible to measure, but has made and continues to make a huge difference throughout our community. Even though he is retired, Sam still comes into the bank every morning, leaves to play golf and comes back to work at the bank in the afternoon! That’s definitely putting his community first!

Sam and his wife, Anne, have two children, Reeves and Jackson and two grandchildren, Samuel and John.
