The Community First Awards are given to recognize those in our community who exemplify the ideal of always putting community first. Nominees could be individuals who have had a lifetime of service, or those who made a significant impact this past year.

If someone has been nominated in the past and not received an award they are eligible to be re-nominated. If you know of someone you believe should be recognized this year please complete our nomination form and make sure they are considered.

ARTS
Anyone who works, participates, or volunteers in any aspect of the arts and makes a meaningful impact on the community.

BUSINESS
Anyone who works in or leads a business and exemplifies the ideal of always putting community first.

EDUCATION
Anyone who works in or leads a business and exemplifies the ideal of always putting community first.

HEALTHCARE
Anyone who works in any field of healthcare who makes a significant difference in the lives of the people they serve.

NON-PROFIT LEADERSHIP
This category is for individuals who play a leadership role in a non-profit organization. These could be staff members or volunteers.

PHILANTHROPY
In this category, we are looking for people who have used their financial resources to support important causes in our communities. This could be a one-time gift or a record of giving over time.

PUBLIC SERVICE
This is a broad category for individuals whose job serves the public good. This could be anyone from law enforcement officers, elected officials, or someone who works for a public agency.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Open to students ranging from K-12 to college. We are looking for students who have done something special to serve or support their community.

VOLUNTEER SERVICE
Anyone who gives of their time and energy to serve others in the community. This service could be through a volunteer agency, organization, school, or self-organized.
